Automotive Sensor Simulator

The Automotive Sensor Simulator HU31035 ideal tool to simulate and actuate the output signal from automotive sensors: frequency, voltage, and test sequences.

The Sensor Simulator will help the technician in the diagnostic testing where many scan tool diagnostics end. This will allow the technician to know if the failure is a faulty sensor, a defect in the wiring, or a problem with the ECU itself. Eliminates the need to replace non-defective sensors.

This tester may not be used on the electrical propulsion circuits of hybrid or electric vehicles. However, it is suitable for all accessory circuits of these vehicles and, of course, on the thermic side of the hybrid cars. Other specific testers exist for power circuits.

Best to use in conjunction with the HU31025 SCOPE+.

Automotive Sensor Simulator

The Automotive sensors simulator will help you in your diagnosis when the scan tool diagnosis ends.

Sensors and injector actuators will inform the scan tools that something is wrong but the Sensor simulator will allow the technician to know if the faulty operation is a faulty sensor, a defect in the wiring, or a problem in the computer itself.

The product is mainly used for wiring tests. This is because the device can simulate the signal and compare it to the scan tool.

Automotive Scope +

Solely designed for automotive electrical circuit troubleshooting! Easy and simple to use; no extensive electrical knowledge needed. Fully protected. Will not cause damage even when using OHM measurement to measure Volts.

Measures:

  • Amps draw (Mini, ATC, or Maxi) without removing the fuses from the Fuse Box

  • Voltage (max. 50VDC)

  • Cranking volts with auto HOLD function

  • Resistance [Ohms] (from 0.0 Ω up to 1.0 MΩ)

  • The frequency with peak to peak volts (up to 20 kHz)

  • Duty cycle (%)

  • Continuity test + Diode/ LED test
